In the framework of a Photovoltaic plant construction project (125MW), we are currently looking for a <\/span><\/span>Field Environmental Engineer.<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Roles and Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/div>

Implement and manage the overall environmental compliance efforts to maintain compliance with the plans, permits, regulations, etc. applicable to the project.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Collect, analyze and manage environmental data gathered in the field<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> <\/ul> Perform risk and quality control assessments to determine environmental impact level<\/span><\/span><\/span>s<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Identify areas of negative human impact on the environment and negative environmental impacts on communities and society<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Create processes and environmental management methodologies aligning with corporate sustainability initiatives and projects. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Identify areas of inefficiency and unsustainable corporate practices. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Ensure compliance with local government and industry regulations. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Forge relationships with influential environmental stakeholders and present data<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>regarding environment performance and business impacts.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field, such as civil, chemical, or general engineering (Mandatory: Valid License \/ Active membership with the CIAPR).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> We value experience, so internships or cooperative\-education engineering programs while at a university are a plus.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> 5+ years of experience with on\-site environmental compliance on construction<\/span><\/span><\/span>, industrial<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>projects<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Knowledge of federal, state and local permitting<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Ability to explain complex permitting or technical requirements in an easy to comprehend manner.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Good knowledge in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other common applications used in the construction industry.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Imagination, Interpersonal, Problem\-solving,<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Analytical\/critical,<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Reading and Writing skills<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> D<\/span><\/span>ata\-centered mentality. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ability to design and implement processes to solve challenges based on data.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> â<\/span><\/span><\/span>Fluency in English and Spanish is required<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
