In the framework of a<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Photovoltaic<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>plant<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>construction project (125MW), we are currently looking for a Civil Works Supervisor <\/b><\/span><\/span>with emphasis on monitoring the work of civil subcontractors (progress, distribution of work, control of personnel and machinery).<\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Roles and Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/div>

Supervision of civil works on\-site: land preparation (earthworks), clearing, cable trenches, road construction, foundations for structures (for photovoltaic panels, came<\/span>â<\/span>ra poles, transformation centers) and fencing (perimeter enclosures, access gates).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Organisation, planning and control of the work of civil works subcontractors: control of progress, distribution of work, control of personnel (delivery notes, listeria, etc.) and machinery, management of incidents and taking of measurements.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Support the quality department: filling in the required documents and following up on said documentation with the subcontractors.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Support the prevention department: complying with and enforcing compliance with all safety requirements on site.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/div>

Bachelorâs degree from an accredited university in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related discipline and 9 years of related experience, or in lieu of a degree, 15 years related experience with an emphasis on Civil (Mandatory: Valid License \/ Active membership with the CIAPR).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Experience working with, supervising, and administering subcontractors.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>

Knowledge of state, federal, and local contracting requirements.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Knowledge of local labor laws and issues.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Familiarity with<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>photovoltaic<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>and industry quality standards.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Demonstrated leadership in a team\-based environment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment and under tight deadlines.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Must be physically able to conduct field inspections and participate in project walk\-downs which may require extensive walking in and around a construction site, walking on uneven surfaces.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Must be able to complete and pass a drug screen, physical, and background check which includes verification of employment and education.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Good knowledge in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other common applications used in the construction industry.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> Fluency in English and Spanish is required.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
