Our client is a fast-growing renewable energy company focused on delivering sustainable, cost-effective solar solutions to commercial, industrial, and residential clients. As they continue to expand their footprint, they are seeking a dynamic Solar Business Development Manager to drive growth and build strong client relationships.
The Solar Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving sales targets, and developing strategic partnerships across the solar energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of solar systems, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in business development or solution-based selling.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the solar energy market.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, EPC partners, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits, client needs assessments, and preliminary sizing of solar solutions.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for potential clients.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate system designs and pricing.
- Manage the sales pipeline and provide weekly/monthly performance reports.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in solar energy sales, project development, or business development.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, C&I solutions, and energy efficiency principles.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in C&I solar projects (rooftop or ground-mount).
- Understanding of financial modelling, PPAs, and project feasibility assessments.
- Existing network within the renewable energy sector.
