ROLE OVERVIEW
The internship within the GIS Team will include being involved in database management efforts for our community solar and energy storage projects. The Internship will support efforts to recognize, digitize, and classify data related to electricity infrastructure. The Internship may also support preparing origination campaigns by identifying qualified parcels for solar projects and building mailing campaigns.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist with data digitization efforts, including Distribution line tracing and Substation identification
- Support with research analysis across Project Development teams
- Prepare project maps and lease exhibit documents
- Additional geospatial support as needed
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES- Experience with ArcGIS Pro 3. X (or similar software)
- Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in geography, GIS, engineering, IT, or a similar field
PREFERRED COMPETENCIES- Experience with model builder and/or python, SQL or other applicable scripting language
- Self-starter who is not afraid to ask questions and take on tasks outside of their comfort zone

$20 - $20 an hour
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn an hourly rate of $20/hour, along with Pivot Energy’s part-time employee benefits package that includes:
· Public transit reimbursement
· PTO for volunteering in the community (during a Pivot-sponsored event)

· The Company shall provide the tools and resources needed by the intern to accomplish tasks
