JOB OVERVIEW
Acting as a key spokesperson for Laurentis, the Business Development Manager, Isotopes will research, and source new business leads and develop strategies to build relationships with key stakeholders of potential clients. Through relationship building and acting as a subject matter expert on Laurentis’ services and product delivery this individual will create a pipeline of new business development opportunities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Work with the Business Development management team in the planning, targeting, and engaging new Laurentis customers.
- Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
- Develops new business pipeline in conjunction with the Isotopes Strategic Plan
- Maintain account target list with profiles; identify industry trends and develop initiatives to meet needs such trends may demand.
- Manage existing client base to support organic growth through new business generation and renewal retention, prospecting and developing new relationships.
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Identifies leads as cold/warm and follows up regularly until leads are warm and qualified for handoff.
- Identify and promote customer relationships, negotiate and help Isotopes leadership close new business deals.
- Collaborate with internal groups and functions to engage appropriate resources where necessary.
- Build and maintain internal and external alliances working with existing clients and third parties at high levels.
- Generate alternatives, evaluate and recommend solutions for potential further development.
- Present and make recommendations to senior management for business opportunities being pursued.
- Lead and coordinate the preparation of business cases for senior management for approvals of new projects and for project updates.
- Understand competitors, their offerings (products and services) and develop counter measures.
- Uses advanced analytical techniques, performs technical evaluation of potential customers.
- Support internal and external Laurentis new business development communications.
- Accountable for the development of marketing materials supported Corporate Communications.
- Support strategic planning initiatives to help plan for growth and expansion, new service development, and other product or service-oriented activities.
- Attend conferences, acting as the initial point of contact for new customers.
- Help resolve customer service or vendor problems so business strategy goals can be achieved.
- Coach and mentor Business Development Analysts and leverage their support for data analytics.
- Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking dynamic and results-driven professionals who have the following:
- 5+ years of directly related experience in business development
- Demonstrated ability to influence others coupled with exemplary negotiation capabilities.
- Understanding of medical isotopes industry
- Experience using interpersonal skills to deal with the coordination of internal groups, interface with senior members of customers and internal senior management.
- Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.
- Proven analytical, financial and business acumen skills
