The Subject Matter Expert (SME) is to make use of any and all available resources, methods, techniques and strategies to ensure curriculum enables student success in an engaged, face to face environment. The Subject Matter Expert is expected to work collaboratively with colleagues and product strategists to create a learning atmosphere which is pedagogically sound, technically supported, and innovative in nature.
SAIT's Continuing Education & Professional Development department is looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide guidance on courses relating to Data Analytics and Machine Learning for our new Carbon Capture Management Program! This course area will focus on developing skills in data analysis and visualization for carbon management decision-making, utilizing tools and techniques to interpret carbon data and trends. Our ideal candidate will have related industry experience in data analytics, machine learning and visualization techniques for carbon management applications. Proficiency in analyzing carbon-related datasets, predictive modeling and decision making tools is essential.

Qualifications
Required:
Post secondary diploma in a related field with a focus on database management3-5 years of experience in data management, data analytics, data science or a related roleProficiency in analyzing carbon-related datasets, predictive modeling and decision making toolsExperience with industry software and using AI-driven insights into carbon capture management practicesExperience performing coding in Python and R; Advanced knowledge of SQL Queries, Design & ImplementationFluent in English reading and vocabularyComfortable speaking to the publicPositive & respectful attitudeAbility to read, interpret and deliver specific curriculumExcellent communication skillsAbility to organize and present written information
