PositionSummary:
The Regional Service Manager will be responsible for managing a cross functional team to complete commissioningactivitiesandtheobligationsundertheLong-TermServiceAgreements(LTSA’s)forBattery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects.This will include managing the daily operations of the regional service team including scheduling resources to complete commissioning tasks, preventative and corrective maintenance.You will focus on performance and profitability within the framework of the operating plan. In this role, you will develop a strategy for improved maintenance, diagnostic and operation to provide additional customer value and reduce the cost of service.The successful candidate must be comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with varying priorities and assignments, as well as demanding timelines.Experience with renewable power generation and service management is essential. The successful candidate must be customer focused with excellent interpersonal skills and experience in a supplier service environment.

- Establishstrongrelationshipsthroughmentoringanddevelopmentofstaff.
- Integratetheoperationsperspectiveintoalljobproposalinitiativeswhileachievingavailability and performance guarantees
- ProvidecriticalfeedbacktotheSeniorServiceManageraroundprocesses,procedures,gaps,and standards.
- Ensureallpersonnelaretrainedandfollowenvironmental,healthandsafetypoliciesand procedures
- ObserveandenforceprogramcompliancearoundNCRs,ServiceReports,andInvoicing.
- Ensureteamlaborandworkordershavebeencapturedandcorrectformonthlyreporting.
- Responsibletoorderandaccountforalltooling,materialsandpartsneededateachsitewithin assigned region for any Service scope.
- Responsibletoauditandpromotegoodpracticearoundsparepartsmanagementandfield documentation (LOTO, JHA, MPs, etc.).
- Reviewandapprovemaintenancereports.
- Evaluateandrecommendopportunitiestoimproveoperationalefficiencies.
- Determinesparepartrequirementsandtracksparepartinventory.
- Analyzeperformancedatadeterminingrootcauseandperformancetrends.
- Build,develop,andgrowanybusinessrelationshipsvitaltothesuccessoftheproject.
- Completeotherdutiesandprojectsasassigned.
QualificationsandExperience:
- Minimum10years’workexperienceinaserviceenvironmentthatincludeselectricalsystems, controls systems, network communication hardware, and power generation hardware.
- Minimum5yearsmanagementandpersonnelmanagementexperience.
- MustspeakEnglishandSpanish.
- Engineering(ElectricalorMechanical)degreeordiploma.Equivalentworkexperiencewillbe considered.
- Knowledgeofgeneralandnationalcodes,mediumvoltagepowersystemsandEnergyStorage system applications is an asset.
- Strongnegotiation,facilitation,riskmanagementandconsensusbuildingskills.
- Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskillsandtheabilitytointeractprofessionallyand influence positively a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
