Mission
We are looking for a Latam Quality Specialist to join our Latam Business Unit based in Chile. Their mission will be to develop and coordinate the implementation of the Quality Plan for the projects within the Latam Business Unit, ensuring compliance with quality standards across all processes, documents, and deliverables that impact project construction in the region — from planning through to the operation of our renewable energy generation plants. Additionally, they will be responsible for adjusting the plan by proposing actions that drive improvements in these processes and/or deliverables, to ensure achievement of the established standards, in line with applicable regulations, technical specifications, current legislation, and corporate guidelines.
This position will require approximately 50% of the time at the office (Santiago) and 50% in the field (Pozo Almonte).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the execution of the Quality Plan for the projects.
- Coordinate the execution, monitoring, and control of procedures required to obtain the Provisional Acceptance Certificate.
- Update and review quality management documentation generated on-site (Calibration Certificates, Quality Certificates, Test Results, PPI).
- Perform On-Site Quality Control, considering the project schedule, identified or anticipated deficiencies, and the importance of each unit/equipment.
- Coordinate and follow up on the information required for the development of the plan, maintaining fluid communication with stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate the tasks of the on-site Quality Inspectors team.
- Prepare internal Quality reports and other required deliverables.
- Open, document, and follow up on Non-Conformities (NC) as needed.
- Ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System within the scope of their responsibilities.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Civil or a related field.
- Technicians in specialties such as Quality and Management, Automation and Industrial Control, Electrician, Electromechanical, and/or Industrial may also apply, provided they have a higher level of experience in similar roles.
- Al menos 10 años de experiencia en roles de similar responsabilidad.
- Experiencia con al menos 5 años en Calidad u Operación & Mantención en centrales de Energías Renovables, Minería, Construcción o afines. Experiencia deseable en evaluación, gestión y mitigación de riesgos relacionados con Puesta en Marcha de Plantas.
- Experience in direct management of employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Valid Class B driver’s license.
