Trueline's client, a leading employee-owned research and development company located in the Greater Boston area, is seeking a Manager of Battery Systems Business Development to join their team in Andover, Massachusetts. This role will be instrumental in driving battery development initiatives and expanding the company's presence in the US Government research and development sector.
What You'll Do as the Manager of Battery Systems Business Development:
- Craft and implement marketing strategies for both print and digital platforms
- Enhance customer engagement and relationships
- Prepare and deliver compelling sponsor presentations
- Coordinate and support trade show exhibitions
- Actively participate in industry conferences and professional meetings
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, and Production leadership teams
You'll Succeed as the Manager of Battery Systems Business Development if you Have:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in battery system development and US Government R&D and acquisition program development
- In-depth knowledge of battery design and performance trade-offs, including primary, secondary, and thermal batteries, as well as various battery chemistry systems
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with NAVSEA SBIR and Acquisition Programs (highly desirable)
- A Bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry, or an Engineering discipline (advanced degree preferred)
- US citizenship (required)
