Job Description and Duties
Under the direction of the IT Supervisor II over the Web Support Unit, the incumbent is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining complex web-based solutions, including enterprise Sitecore Content Management Systems (CMS) and web applications using a variety of technologies. The incumbent applies knowledge in working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, and backend .NET to develop and maintain websites on Sitecore platforms. The incumbent will utilize ASP.NET MVC, Sitecore MVC, and Helix principles, REST, Web API SOLR, xConnect, and Azure services. The incumbent will architect, develop, and maintain the Sitecore and Microsoft Azure solutions to ensure optimal functionality, scalability, reliability, and implementing solutions aligned with business requirements and departmental standards and best practices. The incumbent will maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance Sitecore websites and other applications including implementing updates, patches, and customizations. The incumbent will apply the latest Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards and Section 508 requirements to maintain American Disabilities Act (ADA) website compliance. The incumbent will apply research and analysis responsibilities to perform testing, troubleshoot, identify, debug, and resolve Sitecore and web application issues using multiple tools and techniques. The incumbent will also participate in the development of reports, developing and maintaining technical documentation, project planning, project management, procurement management, quality management, scope management, and release management activities. The incumbent will also be proficiency in technologies including Linux, Apache, My SQL, and PHP (LAMP). The incumbent must have the ability to work independently as well as collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including IT infrastructure teams, IT security teams, consultant vendor resources, and various business programs.

Desirable Qualifications
In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
- Knowledge of the SDLC methodologies and experience applying these practices to implement innovative Sitecore Content Management System (CMS) or similar platforms including architecture, APIs, templates, pipelines, workflows, and customizations.
- Experience in .NET development using MVC frameworks, ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#, HTML, CSS, Javascript, libraries such as React.js or AngularJS, xConnect, Azure Cloud services, and web application development using Linux, Apache, My SQL, PHP (LAMP) stack technologies.
- Sitecore 10 .NET Developer Certification.
- Experience with project management methodologies, standards, tools, change and release management processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including technical teams, business leaders, vendor contract resources, and end-users.
