For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $98,400-147,600 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ESG Senior Consultant to join our dynamic team remote in the US. This role is pivotal in supporting clients across industries to navigate complex sustainability challenges and opportunities, with a particular focus on compliance with evolving reporting standards, strategic ESG integration, and corporate policy development.
As an ESG Senior Consultant, you will leverage your expertise in the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), double materiality assessments, and International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) IFRS S1 and S2 standards to deliver high-quality advisory services. You will play a critical role in developing ESG strategies, conducting materiality analyses, and drafting corporate policies to enhance our clients' sustainability performance and reporting frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- CSRD Compliance and Reporting:
- Guide clients in understanding and aligning with CSRD requirements.
- Develop comprehensive strategies for double materiality assessments, integrating financial and sustainability perspectives.
- Oversee the preparation of ESG reports that meet regulatory and investor expectations.
- Materiality Assessments:
- Lead double materiality assessments to identify key ESG risks and opportunities.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather insights and prioritize material issues.
- Deliver actionable recommendations to drive strategic decision-making.
- Strategy and Policy Development:
- Design and implement ESG strategies aligned with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Draft and review corporate ESG policies, ensuring alignment with global best practices.
- Provide strategic guidance on integrating ISSB IFRS S1 and S2 standards into client reporting frameworks.
- Client Engagement and Advisory:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted ESG advisor.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagements.
- Deliver tailored solutions to enhance clients’ sustainability performance and market positioning.
- Thought Leadership and Knowledge Sharing:
- Stay informed about global ESG trends, regulatory updates, and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of internal resources, tools, and frameworks.
- Publish insights and participate in industry events to promote the company’s expertise
Qualifications and Skills
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in ESG consulting, sustainability strategy, or corporate policy development.
- Proven expertise in CSRD compliance, double materiality assessments, and ISSB IFRS S1 and S2 standards.
- Experience in drafting and implementing corporate ESG policies.
- Proven experience in preparing and delivering executive-level presentations for C-suite audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement company-wide policies for global or multinational organizations.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in ESG reporting tools and frameworks such as GRI, TCFD, SASB, or equivalent.
- Spanish or bilingual proficiency preferred, enabling effective communication with diverse stakeholders and clients.
