For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $80,640 - $120,960 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is responsible for managing State Grant funding opportunities for sustainability projects. The State Grants Program Manager interfaces and manages relationships with internal and external customers. Internal customers include Sales, Project Development Managers, Engineers, and Construction Managers, as well as limited relationships across Schneider Electric’s other business units. External customers include mostly public-sector clients (i.e., Cities, counties, school districts), state funding agencies, and third parties. They will work with leadership to ensure available funding opportunities are identified, understood, and managed to support business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying and evaluating potential state grant programs for energy efficiency, renewable energy, electrification of vehicles and buildings, and water infrastructure projects in priority states
- Provide technical support to internal teams regarding state grant programs, applicability to sustainability projects, and related topics
- Support client-led grant applications by providing technical support to client and project team
- Work with state-level lobbyists and internal government affairs staff to influence funding award decisions
- Coordinate with engineering and project management teams to ensure successful implementation of energy efficiency measures and compliance with grant program requirements
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to grant programs, incorporating this knowledge into project development and strategic planning efforts
- Track and report funding opportunities to support internal metrics
- Coordinate with and provide direction to third-party grant writers
- Communicate with salespeople and prepare for and present to client stakeholders
- Prepare and lead monthly internal calls with salespeople and project managers to report on grant opportunity details and deadlines, progress and lessons learned from winning and losing grant applications
- Research previous grant winner for best practices including FOIA information gathering.
