JOB SUMMARY: This position is part of the Department of Energy, Office of the Chief Information Officer, Service Desk and Application Support Office. As an Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC), you will provide technical expertise in managing cloud-based Application as a Service (AaaS) platforms, including Power Platform as a Service (PPaaS) and SharePoint as a Service (SPaaS), as well ensure AaaS, PPaaS, and SPaaS platforms meet security policies, compliance standards, and federal regulations. MAJOR DUTIES: As an Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC), you will: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Application as a Service (AaaS), Power Platform as a Service (PPaaS), and SharePoint as a Service (SPaaS) platforms meet organization security policies, compliance standards, and federal regulations. Recommend improvements to cloud services utilizing the IT Service Management (ITSM) framework. Provide input to security or policy decisions that affect cloud-based services. Support the planning, deployment, integration, and maintenance of cloud services to align with organizational goals. Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
