JOB SUMMARY: This position is part of the Department of Energy, Office of the Chief Information Officer, Office of the Deputy CIO for Architecture, Engineering, Technology and Innovation, Enterprise Strategy and Architecture Office. As a Supervisory IT Specialist (ENTARCH), you will provide leadership and management for the Enterprise Strategy and Architecture Office as well as lead the development and maintenance of the Department's Enterprise Architecture framework. MAJOR DUTIES: As a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (ENTARCH), you will: Serve as the Director, Enterprise Strategy and Architecture Office, responsible for leading the development and maintenance of the Department's Enterprise Architecture framework. Designate and implement Enterprise Strategy and Architecture Office policy, guidance and processes; establish baseline and future architecture plans; and lead integration of technology to support business and strategy. Manage several multi-year information technology (IT) initiatives that require multiple, related IT projects. Deliver on objectives to successfully develop, implement, maintain, and support the Enterprise Architecture Program. Direct efforts to establish an Enterprise Architecture which serves as a model for the modernization of information technologies across the diverse lines of business for the purpose of achieving efficient information management, sharing, and data protection.
