MAJOR DUTIES: As a Cartographer, you will perform the following duties: Interpret and apply routine cartographic and mapping data collected from field survey. Fully document project methods and procedures and communicate results to supervisors and colleagues via technical reports and informal presentations. Stay current on surveying technology, processing, and software. Process cartographic data in support of mapping and charting programs through the application of photogrammetric and remote sensing data. Support Geographic Information System (GIS), data analysis, data stewardship, and quality assurance activities for coastal mapping and aeronautical survey programs for products and services in a production environment.
