MAJOR DUTIES: Incumbents responsible for operating various types of equipment including, but not limited to tractors, skid steers, forklifts (including steer forklifts), snowplows, grass cutters, and carts. Incumbent's duties include operating wheel mounted tractors and towed or attached equipment to perform tasks, including transporting materials and equipment, beach raking, towing, digging, loading, planting, clearing or mowing Operators maintain grounds and roads under various conditions including mud, wet ground, and sand. Incumbent responsible for determining the appropriate attachments and / or apparatus needed to perform assigned tasks in a safe manner. Responsible for performing routine maintenance on various motorized equipment in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and supervisor's request ensuring equipment is kept in working condition.
