Job Description
Philips Group Sustainability has an opening for Sustainability Professional Circular Economy and EcoDesign.
Join our world-class sustainability team where you can put your strategic business insights, your sustainability knowledge and your problem-solving skills to use. You will help the Philips businesses to drive the transformation of Philips towards a more sustainable world. Can you bring together your passion for sustainable development with the ability to listen to and support your stakeholders across Philips?
At Philips, we have a strong purpose. We seek to improve the lives of 2.5 billion people a year by 2030. We do so by focusing on value-based healthcare, providing access to care to underserved communities, and minimizing our environmental impact with our sustainability programs including Circular Economy, EcoDesign, Climate Action, Natural Capital, and Supplier Sustainability. Philips is a clear front-runner in these areas, which is increasingly recognized by investors, customers, supply chain partners, and talents seeking to work with us.
We have strong ambitions in Circular Economy and EcoDesign. By the end of 2025, we want to attribute 25% of our revenue to circular products and services, design all new products with circularity in mind, extend circular practices across our sites, and close the loop on our medical equipment. Also by 2025, 100% of our innovations (‘new product introductions’) should adhere to our EcoDesign requirements. We seek a sustainability professional to support these transitions within Philips. As a key player in the Circular Economy and EcoDesign programs, you will monitor progress on our ambitious commitments, and provide key analyses and forecasts. All with a strong focus on creating maximum impact. You support select businesses, regions, and functions with their ambitions, and help them to align business strategies with our corporate commitments. You become the go-to person for one or more subject areas, and you act as the linking pin between what we measure, how we drive impact, and what we report externally. You also play an important role in engaging our employees and experts worldwide via our Communities of Practice.
