Business Development Intern, Power Sales & Marketing
Job Summary:
Peak Energy is seeking a Business Development Intern to join our team, based in Korea. This intern will assist in expanding our renewable energy portfolio, particularly in the solar sector. This role involves supporting the identification of new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving project development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector, including solar, and battery projects.
- Help build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, corporate partners, and financial institutions.
- Support negotiations for strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and power purchase agreements.
- Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, regulatory developments.
- Support the development process of onsite, distributed generation renewable energy projects, from initial feasibility studies to final approvals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of project milestones, including permitting, construction, and operations.
- Financial Analysis and Investment:
- Assist the finance team to assess project profitability and financial risks.
- Help with project screening and feasibility studies to support business development efforts.
Qualifications:
- Current student or recent graduate pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong interest in renewable energy and business development.
- Basic understanding of financial modeling and investment evaluation is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Korean and English is required
