- Is accountable of the management and execution of the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations, Planning) process at BU business level for mid- & long-term discussion, by consolidating Network executive outputs & minor flows not managed through network
- Is accountable to understand Business stakes for mid & long term & validating Business Ambition Value to planning integration and to align with Network SIOP leaders any risk on demand & supply for escalation at BU business Level and aligning plan back into the networks
- Lead Shortage Taskforce for global Red Alerts under allocation status and speed up the back-to-normal;
- Have a consolidated view of service level and inventory efficiency with target setting and challenge for improvement actions
- Support / lead OCP Supply Chain design as backup of Supply Chain design leader
Key Responsibilities:
- Able to work a Hybrid schedule based out of the greater Nashville, TN area
- Run the SIOP Business Executive Meeting according to the playbook definition (30% of his / her time)
- Manage functionally Network SIOP Leader and directly Supply or Demand Planners for minor flows
- Get & Decline BU Ambition on mid & long term horizon for each network
- Asses regularly SIOP Maturity & Assess yearly networks structure, raising the SIOP maturity to best in class (20% of his / her time)
- Monitor Lob Supply Chain Readiness coverage
- Control the process through maturity self assessment and participate to audits
- Contribute to the SIOP Community (in and outside the Region)
- Participate to external events to be informed of Supply Chain Planning practices
- Supply Chain Readiness : secure maximum leverage on End-to-End digital platform (Kinaxis, …) , extracting business value and efficiency out of it (20% of his / her time)
- Make sure that the End-To-End Digital Platform functionalities are deployed, coverage monitored
- Support or lead Red Alert process (10% of the time)
- Closely monitor and detect risks and evaluate crisis levels
- Set up and lead Shortage Taskforce for global Red Alerts under allocation status with related part
- Evaluate and communicate back-to-normal
- Monitor the Supply Chain Performance End to End for a set of Product Lines in terms of OTD, Inventory, Lead-times and shortages (10% of the time)
- To Optimize the Supply Chain flow – (10% of the time)
- Support / lead OCP Supply Chain design as backup of Supply Chain design leader
Preferred Competencies:
- Data analysis capability: Be able to collect, organize and analyze a large amount of supply chain-related data, including demand forecasting, inventory levels, production capacity, etc., to make informed decisions.
- Forecasting capability: Accurately predict market demand and sales trends based on the information consolidation from marketing/Front office to provide a basis for production, procurement and inventory management to GSC manufacture plants.
- Coordination and communication capability: Effectively coordinate and communicate with all parties such as suppliers, producers, sales teams, logistics partners, etc., to ensure smooth information flow and cooperation.
- Risk management capability: Identify and assess potential risks in the supply chain, such as supply disruptions, demand fluctuations, natural disasters, etc., and formulate corresponding response strategies.
- Optimization capability: Use mathematical models and tools to optimize the supply chain process to reduce costs, improve efficiency and service levels.
- Strategic thinking: Have the ability to view supply chain issues from a global perspective and formulate supply chain planning that matches the enterprise strategy.
- Cost control awareness: Always pay attention to cost factors during the planning process and look for opportunities to reduce costs in procurement, transportation, inventory and other links.
- Adaptability: Be able to respond quickly to market changes, changes in customer needs and emergencies, and adjust the supply chain plan in a timely manner.
- Project management capability: Effectively organize and manage projects related to supply chain planning to ensure that goals are completed on time.
- Familiarity with industry knowledge: Understand the characteristics, regulations and market dynamics of the industry in which you are located in order to formulate targeted supply chain strategies.
Preferred Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics management, business administration, industrial engineering, statistics, mathematics, or related fields is advantageous.
- Master's of Supply Chain Management (MSCM), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), or with a focus on the areas of operations and supply chain are more competitive.
Work Experience:
Relevant experience in the supply chain field is extremely important. This may cover working experiences in procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, or demand planning. Having cross-departmental project experience, especially involving coordinating different functional teams to achieve common supply chain goals, is very helpful.
Skills and Abilities:
- Willing to travelto other manufacturing plants (including Internationally)
- Possessing the ability of data analysis and interpretation, and being able to handle and understand a large amount of supply chain data.
- Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools, such as SAP, demand planning software_Kinaxis, etc.
- Having a good knowledge of mathematics and statistics for forecasting and optimizing supply chain processes.
- Having excellent communication and coordination skills to be able to cooperate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Having problem-solving and decision-making abilities to be able to make wise decisions in complex and uncertain situations.
- Possessing strategic thinking to be able to understand and plan the supply chain from a macro perspective.
Certifications and Training:
Obtaining relevant professional certifications can enhance an individual's competitiveness in the field of supply chain planning, such as the Certified Supply Chain Professional certification, Lean expert related certification or 6 sigma GB/BB (accredited).
