JOB SUMMARY: This position is on the State Resource Conservationist's staff, in the State office in Gainesville, FL, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). The incumbent provides technical expertise to staff in conservation planning and application, quality assurance, contracting, & geographic information system (i.e., ArcGIS), and the implementation of technology tools. Identify solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and resolves matters involving conservation plans. MAJOR DUTIES: Provide leadership, technical guidance, interpretations, and recommendations to staff, Field in the assessment, planning, development, and application of conservation plans.
