Location: Remote Travel: Up to 50% FLSA Classification: Exempt Kinect Solar is looking for a talented Sales Manager that will manage our Enterprise customer accounts and secure new accounts in the US. These customers may include IPPs and developers in the utility and DG sector where we can secure contracts for our logistics services including warehousing, transportation and drayage services. This position will report to the Senior Director of Sales. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in renewable energy equipment and/or service sales. Huge opportunity for growth in the role as our company expands. The role is home-based with up to 50% travel expected. ***************** RESPONSIBILITIES: ***************** * Growing the customer base across all of our product lines. * Identify key decision makers at IPPs and Developers to get introduction meetings * Strong CRM utilization ethic and demonstrated ability to manage KPIs including touch points, pipeline, quoting quality, PO execution quality, on time delivery, payment, etc. * Pipeline management to document and track opportunities * Create long term supply contracts -> ask for forecast and put into CRM * Nurture relationship to continue buying * Become proficient with Netsuite and Hubspot * Keep Pipeline updated * contract negotiating skills – capable of working with terms to be able to close the deal * Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes. * Customer retention and overall satisfaction. * Ability to travel via vehicle or air to meet with customers or attend conferences *************** QUALIFICATIONS: *************** * Proven performance with at least 8 years in renewable energy B2B equipment sales * Lives in the Western U.S. preferably in an active solar market such as CA or AZ. * Understanding of all solar markets for C&I, Agriculture, Community Solar, Repowering projects, and Utility Scale and understand the following: * Sales Cycle * Project life cycle * Incentives * Drivers and Timing * How to leverage our WENBC ************* BONUS POINTS: ************* * Experience in NetSuite and HubSpot * Logistics Sales Experience * SAAS experience ***************** BENEFITS + PERKS: ***************** * Market pay + bonus potential * Competitive benefits package (Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance) * 401(k) Matching * ESOP Program * Unlimited PTO * Flexible environment, remote work available. * Fast track career growth ******************* ABOUT KINECT SOLAR: ******************* We believe solar is at the forefront of the energy revolution occurring in our country and throughout the world.
