Kinect Solar is looking for a talented Channel Sales Manager that will manage current and new customer accounts that are looking to buy solar equipment. These customer with be solar integrators and new leads will need to be managed to convert them to buying accounts. This position will report to the Senior Director of Sales. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in renewable energy equipment and/or service sales.

Huge opportunity for growth in the role as our company expands. The role is home-based with potentially some travel opportunities to our HQ or local conferences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Growing the customer base across all of our product lines.
  • Strong CRM utilization ethic and demonstrated ability to manage KPIs including touch points, pipeline, quoting quality, PO execution quality, on time delivery, payment, etc.
  • Generate your own quotes based on sales guidance criteria
  • Pipeline management to document and track opportunities
  • Create longer term, repeat buying customer base
  • Nurture relationship to continue buying
  • Help manage incoming leads via web or phone
  • Help with lead generation by daily outgoing calls
  • Ensure timeline payments are received per customer contracts
  • Become proficient with Netsuite and Hubspot
  • Keep Pipeline updated
  • Customer retention and overall satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven performance with at least 7 years in renewable energy equipment sales
  • Understanding of all sector solar markets for residential, C&I, Agriculture, Community Solar, Repowering projects, and Utility Scale and understand the following:
    • Sales Cycle
    • Project life cycle
    • Incentives
    • Drivers
    • Timing
