As the EHS Director, you will provide strategic leadership and hands-on support to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and enhance safety across our site. You'll lead an experienced team of EHS professionals, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and make an immediate impact through data-driven decision-making and sustainable practices.

How You'll Create Possibilities
EHS Leadership and Operations (60%)
- Align EHS strategies with business goals to deliver compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement injury prevention and reduction plans.
- Manage emergency response planning, including drills, incident root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Use data analytics to identify trends, mitigate risks, and uncover strategic opportunities.
- Serve as the primary liaison for EHS regulatory agencies and ensure the effective implementation of policies.
Management Systems and Compliance (25%)
- Implement and oversee EHS management systems and lean enterprise processes.
- Monitor and address emerging risks and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Integrate EHS tools into daily business operations for measurable, sustainable results.
Culture and Team Development (15%)
- Foster a culture of collaboration, problem-solving, and open communication.
- Mentor, coach, and develop EHS team members, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Partner with union leaders, plant managers, and other stakeholders to address safety and compliance concerns.

What You'll Bring to Our Team
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results.
- Proven knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Safety Professional or other EHS certifications.
- Master’s degree in EHS or business-related discipline.
- Experience working with unionized teams and applying lean manufacturing principles.
- Six Sigma Greenbelt certification or audit experience.
