Our client specializes in project support for the (petro)chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a SHE Supervisor to join their team in the Netherlands.

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:
- Diploma or certification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 - 10 years' experience in SHE supervision or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of SHE legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
- Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).
Beneficial requirements:
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence and train teams.
- Proficiency in report writing and incident investigation techniques.
Duties and responsibilities:
The successful candidate will implement and monitor SHE policies, ensuring a safe and sustainable work environment.
- Develop, implement, and monitor SHE policies and procedures in compliance with legal and company standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Train employees on SHE practices, emergency procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure proper reporting and documentation of SHE-related activities, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with managers and employees to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.
