Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications
- This individual shall have completed the USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractor’s training
- Current or readily made current 40 hr HAZWOPR
- IATA training
- Have at least 5 years of experience related to the oversight of remedial/removal actions involving contaminated soil excavation, packaging, manifesting, transportation, and offsite disposal. The CQCSM’s experience shall also include implementation of onsite/in situ environmental remediation.
Preferred
- Experience in remote locations is a camp-type setting
- Must have working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Outlook
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with military personnel, management and colleagues,
- Experience using Resident Management System

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The Project Quality Control Manager duties are performed in both office and field (construction site) settings. Occasional travel may be required. It also requires adjusting work time to accommodate the project demands.
The job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily in a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises direct reports.
