Role Purpose
The Scientist will contribute to the successful running of their work area which includes the analysis of Environmental Monitoring samples from clients and cleaning and monitoring of laboratory equipment.
Main Responsibilities
• Prepare and organise all laboratory tasks in an efficient and orderly way to ensure smooth running of the lab
• Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the method/s supplied, in a manner to obtain accurate results and to inform their Lead Scientist of any circumstances arising that may jeopardise the integrity of such results
• To communicate with customers and take ownership to ensure that the customers’ requirements are met on both time and quality
• Ensure work is completed to required level of quality in a timely manner
• To work in compliance with GLP, GMP and the policies and procedures of Wickham Micro Ltd Quality System

Required qualifications:
Minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent, including Math's and English and relevant experience

Relevant degree but may exceptionally have an HNC or equivalent qualification with extensive relevant experience
