Senior Analyst, Digital Sustainability Solutions
Location: Remote in Canada or hybrid from one of our offices in Ottawa, Toronto or Vancouver.
Type: 1 Year Contract, Full-time
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
POSITION SUMMARY
Climate solutions are in demand more than ever – that’s why we are seeking a purpose-driven Senior Analyst for our Digital Sustainability Solutions team!
The Senior Analyst, Digital Solutions, will support the development and delivery of innovative digital solutions to enhance our full suite of consulting offerings. This role requires strong expertise in cloud computing platforms, data engineering, and data-driven application development, with an emphasis on data modeling, data administration, and leveraging modern data science and visualization tools to deliver impactful sustainability insights for clients. The ideal candidate has a solid background in the Microsoft suite of products, including Azure, Fabric and Power Platform, and will bring a creative approach to solving technical challenges.
As a key member of the team, the Senior Analyst will work closely with internal stakeholders to support project delivery, optimize digital platforms, and contribute to the design and implementation of cutting-edge tools that elevate our services.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Delivery, Management & Coordination:
- Lead small and medium-sized client projects encompassing ESG, climate change, biodiversity strategies, and related programs across diverse industries.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and progress reporting.
- Develop and Support stakeholder engagement activities such as workshops, roundtables, and interviews.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients and internal project teams, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate with third-party consultants and contractors.
- Represent Delphi at virtual and in-person events, conferences, and training sessions.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Work with sustainability and climate change frameworks such as CDP, SDGs, SBTi, TCFD, TNFD, SASB, GRI, and ISO, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
- Leading and supporting the completion of Materiality and Industry Benchmarking Assessments.
- Review and synthesize regulatory requirements related to climate change and ESG.
- Conduct research, analyze data, synthesize findings, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Source, analyze, synthesize, and present data related to ESG and climate change.
- Develop presentations and technical and public facing reports, utilizing tools like PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Power-Bi, GIS, etc.
Team Management:
- Support company wide resource planning by scheduling team members tasks and time through online tools.
- Supervise Delphi interns to ensure effective project delivery and goal achievement.
- Uphold Delphi’s corporate culture and support corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Business Development:
- Support annual sales planning processes
- Support the maintenance of Delphi’s existing client list and maintain regular engagement
- Lead proposal development, coordinate and write proposal sections.
- Respond to RFPs and follow up with existing and potential clients.
- Promote Delphi’s accomplishments and projects through marketing efforts, conferences, and presentations.
QUALIFICATIONS & ASSETS
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated project management experience in ESG, sustainability, and climate change.
- Expertise in ESG, sustainability, climate change, and biodiversity principles, standards, policy, and strategy development.
- Familiarity with sustainability/ESG reporting standards and platforms (GRI, SASB, CDP, etc.) and ESG rating agencies.
- Experience with GHG inventories and climate change risk and vulnerability assessments.
- Experience in developing materials such as surveys, workshops, presentations and supporting a range of engagement activities at the corporate and community level (Indigenous Relations and Vulnerable Sector Experience considered an asset)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel),
- Demonstrated experience with Power-Bi, and GIS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in interdisciplinary teams and dynamic work environments.
- The ability to travel when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, climate change, or related fields, with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Assets:
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Environmental Professional (EP), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Registered Professional Planner (RPP), ISI Envision Sustainability Professional Accreditation or equivalent.
- Advanced degree in sustainability, climate change, environmental science or related field.
- Advanced Proficiency with GIS remote sending and Power-Bi.
- Experience with community engagement and Indigenous consultation.
- Proficiency in French.
