DescriptionProject Monitoring
- Create and track plans for all aspects of the project – including costs, schedules and quality and safety standards for wind, solar, and transmission assets.
- Organize and conduct review meetings with multifunction teams including those with senior management
Data Analysis
- Analyze project data to identify deviations from plans, troubleshoot issues/identify root cause, and create catch-up plans.
- Utilize data-driven insights to propose appropriate course corrections to the construction team
Team Management
Coordinate and collaborate with all teams, BD, Engineering, and Construction to effectively manage project construction, through a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Resource Management
Maintain close relationship with OEMs and conduct regular meetings with OEMs/vendors to track manufacturing progress to ensure timely material delivery to the site
Risk Management
- Assist the BD and Construction teams in identifying project risks
- Monitor and track risks and assist in creating risk mitigation plans to maintain project integrity and on-time delivery
Performance Evaluation and Reporting
- Maintain the project progress data – “single source of truth” through project dashboards
- Generate regular reports for different levels in the organization up to Managing Director
- Support Head - PMC, in presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders as necessary
Knowledge Management
Support Head - PMC to collate learnings from executed projects and incorporate them into future projects – facilitate the revision of project documents (update bidding data books, technical specifications, EPC contract etc.)
Regulatory Compliance
- Track adherence to local, state, and federal regulations and permits, highlight any compliance issues promptly and ensure that the required approvals and compliances are maintained by the respective teams
- Stay informed about and implement updates in regulatory guidelines
Continuous Improvement
Support the Head - PMC, to continuously assess and refine project monitoring processes and methodologies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Ed Educational Qualifications
- B.E./ B. Tech. (Mechanical / Electrical)
- Project Management certifications preferred
Releva Relevant and total years of Experience
- Overall, 8-10 years of experience in power sector
- Experience of 2-3 years at project construction site, preferably RE or transmission sites
