DescriptionDesign / Engineering & Technical Due Diligence of Renewables, Transmission - Greenfield & M&A projects
- Review of the RFS document technical requirement in details Ensure an optimized design and BOQ are prepared to be cost competitive in bidding to win the T&D TBCB project.
- Prepare OTR and MDL and technical specification documents to invite the techno commercial proposal for the prospective EPC
- Review the Technical proposal received from various bidder and make comparative sheet. Engage with the bidder for deviations if any and decide on the deviation acceptance /rejections on case-to-case basis.
- Post bid value engineering and ensuring reliable and compliant systems are designed, manufactured & tested according to the Indian/International standard and best engineering practices at the optimized cost to ensure the reliability and integrity of the asset.
- Prepare scope of work, support during appointment of Consultant / OE, coordinate, review observations and suggest mitigation measures.
- Factory inspection of critical equipment, acceptance tests & support during Site commissioning- Review the nonconformance and take decisions for its acceptance/closure.
- To check compliance and design adequacy during M&A Projects, site visit and design review.
- Evaluation of asset under acquisition with techno-commercial feasibility study, risk assessment. Checking the design fitness, identifying the shortcomings & providing the engineering solutions to mitigate identified risk with minimum cost to estimate the value of the asset as well as revenue flow after the acquisition
Technical Innovation & Developing Solutions
- Identify areas for process improvement within the engineering team and across the organization.
- Implement and refine engineering best practices, methodologies, and standards to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Provide support in conceptualizing & facilitate sharing of new developments in Technology with the wider audience.
Business Planning & Budget Forecasting
Providing inputs for budgeting for Technical Services in accordance with Business plan on need basis
Developing self and others
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to electrical substations and transmission systems
Management Functions
- Participate in meeting with regulators, CTU and government bodies as necessary.
- Meeting with engineering consultants
Interface with Hong Kong
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, project managers, technicians, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals
