Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and committed leader to manage the HSE Operations Blade team in the new and centralized QM & HSE Function in SGRE
You will have a significant impact on how we as a business drive Health & Safety to the next level and how we make sure that the HSE-strategy is an integral part of every aspect of our business. In this function you are responsible for securing and nurturing a high level of cross-function collaboration and for developing the strategic supporting actions in your area of responsibility.
You will be managing a centralized team of HSE specialist in addition to full line responsibility for all HSE Managers at our Blade Plants. You will be an impactful leader and role model in the industry setting clear direction to ensure our plants, products and processes meet or exceed legal HSE requirements and industry standards.
As a leading figure within the Operations HSE Management team you will be responsible for guiding the HSE strategy across all Blade Plants during all operational phases to achieve world class levels of HSE performance.
You will help adopting an industry leading approach to effectively manage current and future HSE risk in a sustainable, safe and high-quality way by employing a life cycle approach.
Relocation may be offered for this position should it be necessary.
Responsibilities:
You will be instrumental in motivating the HSE B central team and Plant HSE Managers throughout the process and for creating a platform for success with a very diligent and method-based approach to problem-solving.
This will include ensuring SGRE compliance to ISO certificates and other legal requirements (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, others), ensure IMS alignment and compliance with OPS HSE Warehouses & Repair Centers and ensure implementation of the HSE strategy and corresponding KPIs.
You will support plants on all HSE matters and maintain close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
You will be responsible for follow up on incidents to ensure lesson learned is shared and support implementation of LeadSafe and drive the culture change as to ensure a secure work environment for your department in all aspects of their workday.
You will be expected to lead, inspire, and encourage your department to maximize their contribution to the overall HSE-goal within SGRE OPS
Required Knowledge/ Skills, Education, and Experience:
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
Minimum education: Bachelors Degree in a related field.
Minimum 5 years in Safety Management field in a Manufacturing/Production facility.
The ideal candidate has an engineering background or comparable education with extensive professional experience together with international experience, preferably in the (wind) energy or construction industry.
Motivate and be a team-player to make sure you and your team are successful .
You have experience of management in multicultural teams and with highly professional colleagues and you can document relevant HSE educations and/or experience.
You are fluent (speaking, reading, writing) in the English language and you have excellent communication skills on all levels.
Traveling up to 15%
