Job Description
Mission
We are looking for a new teammate to join our team in Poland us a CGPD Support Engineer. You will collaborate with our engineering department to develop new applications and improve existing ones that will serve our customers and business.
Main responsibilities
Drive and conduct technical feasibility studies and tests
Installation and calibration of Renishaw measurement systems, including Coordinate Measuring Machines and universal production gauges
Diagnosing faults, selecting components for troubleshooting
Advice and support customers in using measuring machines, Renishaw hardware and software
Participation in marketing events (fairs, seminars, conferences)
Ensure good communication with customers
Sales team technical support
Perform customer visits
Contribute with technical expertise in building a solution that meets the needs of customers
Maintenance and upgrade of demonstration equipment
Keep abreast of technology trends and competition situation and solutions, maintain close relationships with the Product Divisions in Renishaw
Requirements
Higher-technical degree in electrical, mechanical, automation, mechatronics engineering or another related field
Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a similar position
Basic knowledge of electronics and mechanics (machine construction, drive systems)
Experience with using or calibrating measuring equipment will be an additional advantage
Knowledge in programming coordinate measuring machines will be an additional advantage
Communication skills, accuracy in diagnosing and solving technical problems
Ability to work independently under time pressure
Ability to read technical and electrical drawings
Advanced knowledge of working with PC and MS Office
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Category B driving license with driving experience
Willingness to travel

Adaptable, sense of responsibility, flexible and open-minded and used to work in changing environments with the ability to maintain a good and a collaborative work environment are key for the role.
