DescriptionIf you’re ready to change the way the world moves, join us at BlueOval Battery Park Michigan, a new state-of-the-art facility in Marshall, Michigan. You’ll be a key part of the launch team that will help bring the electrification revolution to driveways, job sites, and highways everywhere. BlueOval Battery Park Michigan will produce the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells to power the next-generation Ford EV passenger vehicles and trucks under development. This new wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company will create more than 1,700 jobs when production begins in 2026. This role will start remote and then will be working hybrid out of Marshall with expectation to be on-site at Marshall once building construction and timing is established (relocation package available).

ResponsibilitiesYou’ll also…
- Lead the planning, design, and construction of factory buildings and electromechanical facilities. Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost-effectiveness for new construction, renovations, expansions, and upgrades.
- Responsible for the technical improvement of energy saving, consumption reduction and emission reduction in the jurisdiction area, as well as the initiation, planning, design and implementation of related engineering projects, and improve the energy efficiency of the Company through technical and management methods.
- In the process of project planning, design and implementation, ensure the rationality of project investment and the economy and stability of later operation.
- Lead or participate in the plan and design of the company's new factory, and responsible for the installation and implementation of electromechanical facilities on site.
- Responsible for the operation and maintenance of new plant as well.
- Plan, design and implement technological innovation and upgrade of new and existing factories.
- Participate in IE's planning and design of new projects to ensure the rationality, economy and reliability of the project scheme.
- Implement the company's safety and energy-saving management system, and regularly conduct self-examination and self-correction of potential safety hazards.
- Team building and talent development.
QualificationsYou'll have...
- Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical engineering, mechatronics or refrigeration, HVAC and other related majors.
- 9-15 years working experience in construction, design, operation and management of plant facilities, with in-depth and solid professional theoretical foundation and practical experience and mastering the working principle and maintenance methods of plant electrical, HVAC and power distribution facilities.
- Familiar with the planning, scheme design and construction management of the terminal project of the factory building (HVAC, process pipeline, etc.).
- Manage the operation, maintenance, and repair of factory facilities (air conditioning system, heating system, air compressor, etc.).
Even better, you may have...
- At least 10 years’ experience in facility construction, electromechanical installation, operation and maintenance management of industrial plants.
- At least 3 years’ experience in facility manager operation and maintenance management of large factories.
- At least 5 years’ experience in plan and design of large industrial parks, electromechanical installation and construction management.
- Experience in facility management of large MNC is preferred.

You will continue to be employed by Ford Motor Company but work for BlueOval Battery Michigan LLC, a Ford wholly owned subsidiary located in Marshall, Michigan. You will remain an at-will employee at all times during your employment with Ford or any Ford affiliate or subsidiary with which you later become employed.
