Job Overview

Bockmon & Woody Electric Co., Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Project Assistant to join our team and support the successful execution of electrical contracting projects. As a Project Assistant, you will collaborate closely with project managers, field staff, and contractors to ensure projects are well-coordinated and executed efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

Manage and execute project start-up checklists from initiation to completion.
Log and track project-related correspondences and deliverables between BWE and contractors.
Issue subcontracts, purchase orders, and letters of intent.
Organize and maintain project documentation, including on-site folders (hard copy and electronic).
Assist with tracking RFIs, submittals, and close-out documents.
Support online tracking systems such as Procore, E-Building, Building Blok, and EADOC.
Order materials, confirm quotes, and track deliveries to job sites.
Create Brady Labels/Printers, panel schedules, and phenolic tags for electricians as needed.
Utilize Microsoft Access to update project-specific fields.
Communicate with suppliers, contractors, and team members to ensure project alignment.

Qualifications:

Experience in a similar role or industry is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
Familiarity with project management software and systems is a plus (e.g., Procore, Building Blok).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access).
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Work Schedule

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts.
Location: On-site office position in Stockton, CA.

Work Location

Based at Bockmon & Woody Electric Co., Inc.'s office, with occasional site visits as necessary.
