Key Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of solar projects, from estimator handoff to closeout.
Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring milestones and profitability goals are met.
Coordinate the submittal process and oversee material and equipment buyouts.
Lead pre-job planning, including electrical layouts and value engineering designs.
Collaborate with pre-fab and pre-planning departments for seamless execution.
Act as the primary customer interface, maintaining satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Negotiate, schedule, and oversee subcontractor scopes of work.
Track labor, material, and equipment costs, ensuring adherence to budgets.
Manage change orders, scope adjustments, and other contractual modifications.
Ensure compliance with schedules, adjusting to evolving priorities as needed.

Qualifications

Proven project management experience in solar, electrical, or similar fields.
Knowledge of electrical engineering principles in power systems.
Strong understanding of construction management and scheduling.
Familiarity with estimating, change orders, and contract management.
Journeyman or Master Electrician's license (preferred).
Excellent communication skills and proficiency with project management tools.
