JOB SUMMARY: This position is located within United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC), Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS). The Tribal Planner performs duties which assist the District Conservationist in developing and carrying out a coordinated natural resources conservation program tailored to tribes, meeting USDA and NRCS trust responsibilities and requirements. MAJOR DUTIES: Works with Tribal farmers, other landowners, and Tribal Nations to develop conventional conservation plans addressing resource concerns.
