JOB SUMMARY: This position serves as the supervisor of a state-level Water and Easement Resources staff responsible for the coordination, direction, evaluation, and oversight of NRCS watershed and easement programs. The incumbent directs the activities of assigned staff members in assisting Conservation Districts and other units of government to identify resource problems and to develop comprehensive plans for remedial treatment and soil and water resource development. MAJOR DUTIES: Directs the preliminary investigation of hydrologic units for which planning and/or modeling assistance has been requested.
