JOB SUMMARY: This position is located in Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, in the Planning, Resources and Education Division. MAJOR DUTIES: As a Community Planner, you will perform the following duties: Provide professional, technical and compliance work. Review local codes, ordinances, regulations to determine compliance with policy. Lead in planning by providing analysis, technical assistance, collaboration, and training. Participate on an interdisciplinary team and leads overall coordination of local planning efforts. Collaborate with a wide variety of land use and resource management agencies, jurisdictions and non-profit organizations.
