For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $99,200.00-148,800.00per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. As part of the US Enterprise Customers Organization, the Public Sector Segment AM Digital Sales Support collaborates closely with our Relationship Account sales teams to drive growth in our Public Sector market, in support of our top Public Sector customers in the US. As Digital Sales Support, you will be responsible for driving the sales and adoption of our solutions within our Public Sector market. This position will provide sales support for our Relationship Accounts by helping to prospect and organize solution leads with respective tools and processes. This position will also assist in the associated Relationship Account Executive (RAE) and Business Unit (BU) follow-up critical in seeing opportunities close with a win. These responsibilities will be carried out under the direction of the Public Sector Segment Sales Leader.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as support during the sales process, leveraging cross-segment operational, functional, and constructional capabilities that align with customer needs.
- Gain a deep understanding of the specific needs and challenges of long sale cycles within RA and associated organizational practices to combat them.
- Collaborate with other Digital Sales Support members to develop targeted strategies for solution adoption and revenue growth within the Enterprise Segment.
- Help to create engaging presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to potential clients, effectively showcasing the value of our solutions.
- Help to conduct comprehensive market analysis and competitive research to identify opportunities for market differentiation and inform strategic decision-making.
- Provide ongoing support and expertise to the sales team to help leverage Schneider Electric’s full portfolio of offerings and solutions.
- Apply understanding of customer processes and decision criteria to help RAEs close opportunities with associated local BUs.
- Stay updated and informed on SE digital sales technology and tools.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES
- Highly motivated and experienced individual who has a proven record of sales organizational skills and diligence needed to drive digital industrial solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in technical field or work experience equivalent.
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in sales profession.
- Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with customers and partners.
- Knowledge of energy, electrical distribution and building automation software.
- Familiarity with big data tools and analytics tools.
- Experience of major cloud player tools and stack.
- Ability to thrive in uncertainty, adapt to changes in the market and pivot with the team as needed.
- Strong relationship building & communication skills.
- Tenacity, resilience, emotional intelligence.
- Ability to work collaboratively, within the sales team, surrounding SE community, and external clients.
- Ability to travel within US on a limited basis.
