Job Description
We are looking for an intern who is eager to learn more about Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) to join our team as soon as possible.
The candidate will assist the regional Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) lead with;
Utilize Organons Health & Safety legal obligation tracking system. Using our online platform, the candidate must review, update and monitor completion of our safety and health obligations in designated countries where Organon have operations. To complete the questionnaires, the candidate will collaborate with safety representatives, facility managers, and human resources.
Review and update office Emergency Action Plan templates. Organon requires every office have an Emergency Action Plan that documents the procedure that employees must follow during an evacuation of the building or an emergency situation. The candidate will review, and update as needed each office Emergency Action Plan for accuracy.
Support regional SHE lead and Human Resources with Occupational Health requirements. The candidate may be tasked with identifying external Occupational Health service providers, contract review to determine what the vendors are required to complete and seek verification documentation that the providers have met their obligation.
Review and update office safety risk assessments. The risk assessment tool is utilized to identifying and score high risk activities/tasks or hazardous situations, then determine and track corrective actions with ways to reduce any high safety risks that are identified.
Other tasks to support Organons safety and health mission will be assigned as needed.
