The HSE department is focused Supporting and empowering vestas to build HSE Capacity at every level of the organization. It is our goal to ensure that every leader and employee has access to the necessary tools, systems and processes to ensure everyone goes home safely every day.
Responsibilities
- Define and establish a structured plan for the successful rollout of the HSE platform, ensuring alignment with business goals ensure continued support and enhancement of the platform post-launch, addressing user feedback and optimizing functionality
- Engage, communicate, and coordinate with stakeholders across regions to ensure alignment, understanding, and support for the project
- Lead a cross-functional team, assigning tasks, tracking progress, and fostering collaboration to meet project objectives
- Oversee the setup and tailoring of the HSE platform to align with company-specific requirements and best practices
- Identify and manage risks, ensuring the project adheres to all compliance and regulatory requirements
- Maintain financial control of the project, monitoring expenses to ensure they stay within approved budget limits and monitor project outcomes and provide reports on progress, risks, and KPIs to keep leadership informed of project success
- Design and implement strategies to support user adoption, providing training and resources for a smooth transition and ensure the platform operates reliably and meets quality standards through rigorous testing and issue resolution

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM)
- Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) certifications, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or CSP, are highly desirable, as they demonstrate a solid understanding of HSE principles
- Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci) is advantageous for supporting organizational adoption of the platform
Competencies
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, or Jira)
- Familiarity with HSE software platforms and an understanding of their operational, technical, and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for assessing risks, troubleshooting issues, and evaluating platform performance metrics
- Efficient in the English
Soft Skills
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in reporting to senior executives
- Efficient organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and adaptability and resilience in a dynamic project environment, especially in a high-stakes health and safety context
