Vestas Development is seeking a Lead Tax Business Partner to join our Copenhagen office as part of the Group Tax team.
Responsibilities
- Business Partnering - providing tax advice to the management team in Vestas Development and Regional Development teams
- Advise on CIT, CGT, TP, and VAT matters, supporting compliance across a portfolio of SPVs
- Ensure tax governance, strategy adherence, and conduct tax analysis for new market entries
- Govern and ensure adherence to the TP model
- Support M&A activities as part of deal teams and assess tax risks with local advisors and finance teams
Qualifications
- Professional experience of 4+ years, ideally in a results-oriented environment, such as a global organization or consultancy
- Solid understanding of international tax law and tax environment
- Demonstrated skills in managing stakeholders and building productive relationships in a global environment
- Good understanding of the workings of a support function in a global company
- Ability to present complex tax information clearly to management groups and stakeholders
- A general understanding of finance and accounting
