We are seeking a talented and experienced Environmental Scientist to join our client in Cape Town. As an Environmental Scientist, you will play a crucial role in conducting environmental assessments, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- BSc (Hons) in Environmental Management/Sciences or similar
- EAPASA registration
- Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate environmental consulting experience
- Experience in Basic Assessments, EIAs, and environmental authorization processes
- Strong understanding of NEMA, NEM:WA, MPRDA, NEM:AQA, and NWA
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake environmental screening and impact assessments
- Prepare comprehensive environmental reports
- Compile tenders and proposals
- Facilitate public participation processes
- Conduct environmental audits
- Ensure quality control of deliverables
- Contribute to other sustainability projects as needed
