In partnership with Healthscope at the Northern Beaches Hospital, Ventia are seeking a Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) Advisor to partner with key stakeholders and provide advice and support for compliance and operational excellence relating to Health and Safety. This is a full-time permanent role that is based on site at our hospital.

About the role:
- Provide expert advice and practical solutions to support project-based personnel to ensure the effective implementation of quality and assurance management systems.
- Partner with Health & Safety (SHEQ) Manager to prepare annual Project Integrated Audit & Inspection Plan and maintain the plan.
- Schedule and conduct internal audits and action tracking to ensure compliance with Ventia requirements, and certifications/accreditations are maintained.
- Review contracts and identify the project contractual deliverables. Implement adequate assurance program to monitor & review the compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and implement hazard controls.
- Conduct safety investigations for incidents or injuries that occur on site, focusing on process improvement.
About You:
- Completed Certificate IV in WHS or similar.
- Exposure to working in high-risk environments such as construction or infrastructure.
- Ability to clearly communicate and consult to deliver strategies to ensure compliance, minimise risk and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and a positive team culture.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
