Job Summary:
A global technology leader is seeking a Business Incubation Manager to lead the development of innovative, sustainable business solutions focused on decarbonization, energy management, and environmental monitoring. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of sustainability trends, responsible for guiding early-stage innovations from concept to market launch. The Business Incubation Manager will work across diverse teams and external partners to accelerate sustainable technologies, drive growth, and align with global environmental goals..
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Development & Management:
Develop and manage an incubation program focused on clean technologies and sustainable business models.
Create measurable KPIs and success metrics for early-stage sustainability projects and ensure alignment with global sustainability objectives.
2. Partnership & Ecosystem Building:
Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships with technology providers, academic institutions, government agencies, and NGOs to strengthen the innovation ecosystem.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to integrate partner technologies and expand the program’s impact.
3. Innovation & Solution Development:
Collaborate with internal R&D and product teams to guide the development of environmentally sustainable products.
Test and validate concepts through pilot projects, gathering feedback to refine and optimize product-market fit
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
Act as a spokesperson for the incubation program, communicating progress, milestones, and successes to both internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate with the sustainability team to report on program impact and align with corporate environmental goals.
5. Market Research & Trend Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends in energy management, decarbonization, and environmental technologies.
Develop actionable business plans for sustainable solutions, considering scalability, financial viability, and market fit
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in business incubation, sustainability, or related fields, with a focus on clean technologies, decarbonization, energy and utility, and environmental industries.
Proven ability to build and manage partnerships across multiple sectors, including tech, academia, and government.
Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully scaling innovative solutions.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing diverse stakeholders.- Advanced Technology background especially in computing science and data science.
Fluent English speaking and communication.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with regulatory landscapes in sustainability and decarbonization.
Experience with IoT, AI, and data analytics technologies relevant to energy and environmental applications.
Strong analytical skills, with experience in developing and interpreting sustainability metrics.
