Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in safety and quality, risk management, engineering or related discipline
- A minimum of 18 years’ experience in safety, quality and environmental management with at least 10 years’ experience at managerial level
- Solid knowledge in internal control, risk management and crisis communication
- Able to demonstrate successes in developing and implementing safety, quality and environmental management strategies and manage stakeholders in large complex organisations
- Excellent leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Overseas exposure is an advantage

Responsibilities
- Accountable for the corporate level safety, quality and environment management policies, standards and framework to ensure a strong safety, quality and sustainability culture in the Corporation and relevant subsidiary businesses
- Lead a department with multi-disciplinary professionals and act as the second line of defense (2LoD) and a centre of excellence (COE) on safety, quality and environmental management matters for all Business Units and Corporate Functions
- Define, communicate and ensure policy and framework compliance with relevant statutory requirements and international standards, and verify Business Units and Corporate Functions conformance
- Ensure appropriate corporate safety and qualify control measures in the Corporation to conduct work activities lawfully and ethically
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive crisis management plan, including risk assessment, team coordination and communication strategies, ensure regular drills and sufficient resource allocation for continuous improvement
- Manage and analyze relevant data to identify potential trend and risk area in terms of corporate safety, quality and environment management
- Investigate major accidents and incidents, identify root causes and provide recommendations on follow up actions, collaborate with Business Units and Corporate Functions and offer expert advice to senior executives
- Champion corporate safety, quality and environmental management initiatives and activities, share best practices and direct relevant training programmes to enhance staff awareness and promote a positive safety, quality and sustainability culture in the Corporation
