About the Job
The suitable candidate should have the skills and qualifications of,
- Bachelor’s in engineering, environmental science, management, law or similar discipline.
- Desirable to have Master’s in environment science/management or similar branch.
- Minimum10 years of experience including CO2 related evaluation and CCUS regulations
- Possess working knowledge in environmental assessments/permitting studies.
- Experience in handling environmental studies in Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, Fertilizer & Chemicals
- Ability to manage and execute multiple projects.
- Being rigorous, autonomous, curious and a great team player.
- Possess effective communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of local and global environmental legislation and standards.
Overview / Responsibilities
Reporting to one of the local delivery managers, and after an integration period, you will be responsible for the following activities:
- Prepare environmental permitting/ technical reports including EIAs, EMPs, ESIAs and related reports, for submission to Local Authorities (Department of Environment) or to meet international standards for multinational clients.
- Provision of environmental engineering technical and compliance advice.
- Prepare engineering environmental design basis and philosophies, as required.
- Review of engineering design documentation and drawings in support of environmental studies.
- Identification and interpretation of relevant regulations and standards, in preparing technical reports.
- Input to HAZID/ENVID reviews and multi-discipline engineering projects.
- Ensures technical project execution within time and budget by supervising assigned engineers and coordinating with Clients and other engineering disciplines and supervising assigned engineers.
- Ensure full compliance with Company rules and procedures and adherence to the procedures.
- Interact with Genesis peers globally to share best practices.
- Co-ordination and Understanding of Multi-discipline activities for effective project execution.
- Acclimated to learn new tasks at a fast pace and apply the knowledge effectively for project completion.
- Maintain documentation as per quality procedure.
- Responsible for maintaining client interface during project execution. Coordinate external interfaces with the client, and internal interfaces with the project management team, construction, engineering, and commissioning disciplines.
- Keep up to date with new development of standards, software’s, other digital tools, procedures and implement it to the day-to-day work.
- Work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations and maintain quality.
