About your future position
As an Economy Route Sales Driver, you are responsible for safely delivering our economy (refurbished) batteries to our dealers/customers following the route you are assigned by our very cool Dispatcher. Our customers/dealers are mainly in the auto industry. Our batteries are heavy, and you will perform physical labor by lifting & carrying the product from your truck to be neatly set up on the customer's display rack. While onsite, you will pick up any used batteries (cores) that our customers have and bring them back to our facility for refurbishment. Not only will you deliver and pick up product, but you will also use your outgoing personality to build relationships with customers to gain trust, sell as many economy batteries as you can during your day and provide exceptional service.
That is the short version of the job; there really is a lot more to it & it’s hard work. If you are looking for a ‘delivery driver job’ where you drop it and go, then THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. You will perform heavy lifting on a regular basis, work in all types of weather, be expected to provide excellent service, perform sales activities, and you must enjoy building relationships with customers.
