KOMAN Government Solutions has an immediate need for an Environmental O&M Project Manager to support our Northeastern US business operations managed out of our corporate headquarters in Marlborough, MA. The Environmental O&M PM will manage all aspects of environmental investigation, remediation, O&M, and LTM projects for our Federal customers.
The Environmental O&M PM will possess a technical understanding of environmental remediation systems and processes, including air sparging, soil vapor extraction, in situ injections (chemical and biological), groundwater pump and treat (carbon and ion exchange), soil removal/capping, and landfill cap maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of successfully managing environmental projects for Federal customers, be detail-oriented, organized, dependable, resourceful, and able to perform well under the pressure of multiple deadlines. The Environmental O&M PM will be a leader in the company and will work with staff to ensure they are challenged and work effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Independently manage multiple O&M projects of varying complexity for multiple Federal clients. Responsible for successful execution, financial management, and schedule adherence.
- Provide technical support, including direction to operators regarding routine maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
- Coordinate and communicate with operators, staff, client representatives, and subcontractors. Work closely with all parties to ensure effective system operation and optimization, staff development, administration and implementation of all routine and capital repair and replacement projects, and emergency response for equipment failures, force majeure events, all alarm events, etc.
- Develop technical approaches and cost estimates for assigned projects as well as in support of other remediation projects and proposal efforts company-wide.
- Ensure effective implementation of Safety and Quality Control requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor�s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering; Geology, Environmental Science, or related field required.
- Professional registration or ability to obtain is preferred (PE or PG).
- Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant work experience, including relevant project management experience.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and client requests.
- Strong working knowledge of standard PC software (e.g., Excel�, Word�, Project�, Access�, PowerPoint�, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail, and organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to travel periodically to client sites, both local and distant.
- Current OSHA 40-hour training and 8 hour Refresher for Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER).
- Ability to pass background checks required for military base access.
