Our client, a leading renewable energy manufacturer, is seeking a Supply Chain and Material Planning Manager to be based in Cape Town (with regular interaction across operations in Johannesburg). This is a unique opportunity for candidates based in Johannesburg who are open to relocating to Cape Town, yet desire a role that bridges both cities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and optimize supply chain operations, focusing on Inventory Management, BOM (Bill of Materials), and Demand Planning to support sustainable production.
- Oversee material planning functions to ensure uninterrupted production flows and efficient resource use.
- Use Microsoft Dynamics 365 to streamline and elevate supply chain performance.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams, bridging efforts between Cape Town and Johannesburg operations.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualifications: Tertiary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Experience: 8-10 years in supply chain, with 3-5 years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in Inventory Management, Demand Planning, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
