The Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult is recruiting a Marketing Executive at our Glasgow office, to provide support with marketing, communications, events, branding activity and internal communications.
What will I do?
- Support with delivery and coordination of all event related activity – exhibitions, conferences, major visits and online events. This will include some UK travel and coordination of supporting materials.
- Support the internal communications strategy through:
- Creating, editing, and distributing internal communication materials, such as newsletters, emails, presentations, intranet content, and leadership messages.
- Maintaining the company intranet, ensuring content is up-to-date, relevant and accessible.
- Support development of the brand and marketing communications materials, promoting consistent messages with key stakeholders including the creation, order and upkeep of any physical and digital marketing materials and stock.
What are we looking for?
Experience of end to end event management and knowledge of event management software and tools.
Interest in public relations and marketing.
Strong PowerPoint capabilities and familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
Passion for climate change agenda, renewable energy and Net Zero.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) and have confidence to express opinions and ideas in a constructive and engaging manner with colleagues at all levels within the organisation.

- Have a flexible and proactive approach to work.
Be able to absorb and analyse information effectively.
Exhibit good computer literacy.
- Must be capable of working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a range of capacities.
